Positive energy radiates from children! Running, jumping, dancing, playing, learning, and anything fun is the nature of kids. In my book, “Goodnight, Little Dreamer”, the mom catches her son playing in his room when he’s supposed to be asleep. Sounds familiar? Reading a bedtime story can settle them in for the night. But during the day, parents find ways to channel that energy with activities.
Here’s an exercise I enjoyed as a kid: Write several activities on strips of paper that your child would enjoy; be creative. Fold each strip and place them in a bag or jar. Have your child pull from it each day or week. Every kid loves a surprise. Watch as your energetic little dreamer eagerly grabs an activity to enjoy.
